Kampala, Uganda — March 28, 2026 — After weeks on the run, Moses Anguyo, the prison warder wanted in connection with the fatal shooting at Kiboga Central Prison, has been arrested in neighbouring Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
According to security officials, Anguyo was apprehended in Aru town in Ituri Province in a joint operation involving Ugandan police and prison officers. Efforts are now underway to extradite him back to Uganda to face charges related to the deadly incident. �
